Trauma is a condition of being unable to live in the present. The objective of this workshop is to learn the theoretical underpinnings of TCTSY: attachment theory, trauma theory, and neuroscience. We will explore how this approach can allow someone to have a present moment experience in the context of a safe relationship.
The workshop will be delivered in a lecture format with some optional chair based yoga and time for questions & discussion.
This is a half-day workshop suited for clinicians, trauma therapist, yoga schools, and yoga instructors. It can also be of service to anyone wanting to learn more about how TCTSY can be used as an adjunctive treatment for complex trauma, or chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD.
